Re: New Forum Moderators! A fragmented approach to managing span of control, very interesting idea. But what actually changed Moose? I mean that was a rather dramatic falling-on-your sword bit that you performed.
Re: New Forum Moderators! @Meisha on page 21 bottom-last post on page.. I think the alts would argue that it is unreasonable to silence/ban them from forums for posting something about an OSW that they are on so and so side, but they don't spam.. They just give misguided information or just complain (depending in the magnitude of complaining I realize it could be spam).. S in conclusion I don't think the alt posters will decrease so much
Re: New Forum Moderators! Gosh, forum moderator definitely hasn't been petitioned for for, y'know, over two years or anything.
Re: New Forum Moderators! i think there should be a Fmod for every section of forums. Like one could monitor FF and another one could monitor Off Topics.
Re: New Forum Moderators! Bump to top of AT. Everyone make sure to read the new update in the op. It should help clarify some things.
I don't like fact that forum mods are able to ban players from forums. Silencing I get but banning is a little too much power. That should be left in the devs hands. Other than that I like this new concept of forum moderators. I also have a question about silencing. Im assuming silencing rules differ a little from in-game silencing rules. As you're aware people tend to trash talk a lot on forums. Especially in war threads. For instance I told someone that they should go get fingered by Edward scissor-hands.. Is that a silence-able offense? I'd like to know where the lines are drawn before I get myself silenced lol
@ Kool-Aid I don't see an Angry Birds forum mod, and a public link to a Fruit Ninja_Admin whist I slice up fruit or topple pig occupied structures....this is what I mean. ATA has made themselves accessible. They put themselves in front of the firing squad vs an army of hormone infused teens, and other "happy-to-complain" types. I respect that. They are not perfect by any means. But admitting to change due to our input, is rare for an app. That was my point. The mechanics, arguing over game politics, riding with the changes, all become "part of this game". Not just clicking buttons. Think about it.
Um i just checked Delphin and whoops it doesnt show he has Mod achiebement under his community achievements
That's because he's a forum moderator not a game moderator. This is a new role for ATA to trial, I'm sure they'll get a moderator badge as they iron out the kinks
