    Further War Time Adjustments
    Looking at the signups last week, we found that there was only a small group of clans that exceeded a size of 60 (5%). In an effort to further streamline and optimize our matchups, we are going to only 30-45 and 30-60 member wars this week. Please see the adjustments below

    The Red Paladin Paldron will be released this week on Friday.

    Estoc Trial Season 1!
    We've been working on a structure for a proper Season 1 of Estroc Trials. There will be a exclusive prizes given out to the winners. We do not have a definitive start time yet, but we hope to announce this soon. It'll be worth your effort, we promise. :)

    Estoc Trials Times
    --------------------------
    Signup: 6 hours prior to War Start Time
    Duration: 4 hours
    Matchmaking: 2 hours prior to War Start Time (Must sign up before this, rosters lock at this point)
    Activity Lock: Approximately 1 hour prior to the earliest War Start Time
    Start Time: This can vary up to 15 minutes. This will be reflected in your war timer.

    PST - Wednesday - 4am-4:30am
    EST - Wednesday - 7am-7:30am
    GMT - Wednesday - 12pm-12:30pm
    SGT - Wednesday - 8pm-8:30pm

    Roster Size: 30-45
    PST - Thursday - 12pm-12:30pm
    EST - Thursday - 3pm-3:30pm
    GMT - Thursday - 8pm-8:30pm

    Estoc Trials FAQ

    Q: Matchups are not fair/balanced/equal!
    A: We try our best to create the best possible matchups, taking into account everyone that signs up. Due to the # of signups we have, it's impossible to create a perfect matchup for everyone. We are looking into some possible solutions for this, one of which is to adjust the minimum and maximum clan sizes.

    Q: The lag is horrible and it is causing us to lose the war!
    A: This is a complex issue, and hopefully this explanation will put to rest some of the questions that have been brought up. A common situation where a delay in processing actions happens when one player receives many incoming actions. The player that is receiving this action will most likely experience the "spinner" for several seconds when they try to do an action themselves. At the end of this, they will receive a notice that says that they were knocked out. This is a point of frustration for many as they feel that if the spinner had not come up, they would be knocked out. While our servers may take a few seconds to resolve all of the actions (it can be easily over 20 at once), we do record when we receive each action and the action that was triggered first will receive the Knock Out. Chances are, if you had 9 incoming actions and you tried to attack, you chances of being the first action is ~10%. To reiterate, while it may take our servers some time to determine the results, the results are fair and the first action that was performed will go through. Now, we are doing what we can to reduce the amount of waiting time players experience, and have been upgrading our hardware to accommodate for the number of actions that occur during Estoc Trials.

    Q: Will the war times change week to week?
    A: We will continue to examine and improve the wartimes, offering a larger variety of times and size restrictions to best suit our players.

    This is exactly how I dreamed it would turn out. 3 month seasons with 2 weeks to a month of tournaments :)

    If I'm correct, the Estoc wars will give you a ranking based on a point system. More Estoc you win, the higher your ranking.

    I have no clue what I'm talking about, but this is my rough estimate of what the system will be like. Think of it as the NHL, except shorter seasons that go year-round.

    An idea has just popped into my small head. The main problem with matchups IMO is the roster size differences. EVERYONE deals with the lag on both sides so its not like one side getting an advantage. I think a solution to this problem is limiting xtal usage of the clan with more members. For instance if its 35vs40, the clan with 40 members only gets a 70 xtal max limit , still with a max of 2 per player, which would be the same amount as the smaller clan. This would completely even the odds. Yes some people wouldn't get to xtal twice or possibly at all, but some people don't xtal anyway, if they don't have the money or miss the call in cc.I really think it would balance things out quite a bit.

    Lol damn devs are a year behind. They still living in 2012 lol. No wonder the can't fix the estoc wars and participation is at 5% lol. A damn year behind. Get with the times guys
