As to instant regens and knock out timers, no, no, no. Just leave it as it is. People need to make a little effort for their reward, make it too easy, and you sap the pleasure out of a hard earned reward.
@ Kaw_admin.. I don't usually post but want to start of by saying thank you for listening to the community. I thoroughly enjoy this game and commend the development team for all the hard work. But I feel, along with fellow Kawers, that there are a few things that need to be addressed. 1. Please make the option of "opt in" vs "opt out" avail. This is make our life less stressful as we don't have to scramble to post walls or title ppl to see if they can war. 2. A countdown to window when defender comes out of KO would be useful. Please Make sure this option is visible only to defender and not everyone involved in the war. 3. New equips stats wise are not equivalent to items which were avail during summer wars. Items during summer wars are way overpowered and only strongest kingdoms in KAW have it due to setup and alliances during those wars. If game mechanics of EE were implemented back then a smaller clan would have a chance of winning those items. With that said I would hate to war kingdoms with the items avail only thru summer wars and nothing comparable in the market to negate or equate that. Weaker/newer players are at severe disadvantage due to this. 4. U mentioned something about increasing milthril payout which is great but what about resets on new items. Greaves and bracers are pain in the tush and majority of player don't have them web close to max level. Can we curb away from chance and let players enjoy the MILTHRIL they earned by successfully upgrading their equipments? I think I have spoken enough. Have you had any thought about people that win an estoc war #1 they get a level 1 estoc. Thats for fighting 4 hours str8 and winning. But if the lose the next war #2 they lose level 1 estoc. Is it possible that they still get to keep the the level 1.
I think all should be able to buy 2-3 mith at day so all can be able to buy the red equips without partecipe all the wars..
I think the mith pay out for hansels and spys are crude. I did 3rd most knockouts in my clan and only made 1 extra mith.
@kaw admin, another suggestion, can you guys make a clan squire? A role an owner can give too (1 person per clan) that has higher power then a normal admin? They can adjust all titles including admins, expect not owners, and they can kick all members, including admins, just not the owner. I feel like this will take less less pressure off a clan owner preparing there roster before a war if they have a reliable squire. This change cannot hurt as a clan owner simple doesn't have to have a squire if they do not want too, and they should be able to change who the squire is as they please. Thanks for hearing
@ Nikire. Why should devs destroy their war incentive by making it available to buy for all. You want the mith war for it simple as. If you don't want to theres enough equipment that drops from ebs so get that instead. And agreed devs please address spy plunder from estocs edge.
i think the reason every1 wants mith on sale is because the equip prices are through the roof! so devs should aim to reduce equip prices instead of putting mith on sale
What Sucks About Estoc Wars. 1. Estoc's Edge gives NO benefit to a Spy or Hansel build 2. Mith payouts are extremely low 3. Like any war you are NOT making any gold 4. The opt out of war "Veil Spell" should be an opt in "Spell". Making it easier to war from a large clan 5. Losing edge because you leave a clan? Either give us the Opt In War Option or let us keep our damn edge! These are just few things that suck about your new war system.
If your wanting to keep the incentive to war for mith. What you can do is same principles as you are looking into by allowing guys to buy mith with 0 amount. But make it available to people who are in roster lockdown only. That don't have the veil spell on. And make it a max of 14. That way you know that the 14 mith would 9/10 times be used solely for that war. It keeps the incentive there. But also makes it more desirable that guys with no mith wouldn't be put off participating in war without it.
And give clan owners and admins the ability to cast the veil spells for clan members on the manage button.
My 2 cents: Opt in spell should be a priority. The current spells are extremely confusing and inconvenient. If you want to miss an early war but wish to war later in the weekend you have a small window to use the spells. In some cases you will have to get onto kaw several times to properly time casting the veil spells. This can be problematic if your account is on computer or iPod ,ie, not mobile. Regarding EE, there should be more benefit for hansels and spy builds. As it stands there is no tangible incentive for such a build to go to war other than to help their friends and clanmates. I don't know the technical issues involved but would it be possible for EE to work only at the clan it was won at? That way you could leave but EE does not work at other clans but you can still go and help out friends as needed. The way it works now is if you leave a clan to help then come back you lose 2 levels of EE which is much too steep a price.
I have to say, I'm impressed. This update is really on the ball with the matchmaking improvements and the mith sale cap. I love the idea of being able to buy spells pre war to make it fair on those with no mith. Keep up the great work devs!
The miths sale must not restricted to those who is 0 miths only since u guys come out with the new equipment. The forfeit button shld be disable once the war start since I noticed that the returned of mithrils are less when the opponents forfeit the war this it's a loss to the winning clan as before war we already spent a lot on mithrils.
Kaw Admin, If I understand correctly, you wanted to expire 1 lvl of EE every 2 weeks. But I think that is not happeneing; everytime a clan wars, this timer gets reset. That's why a lot of clans are enjoying high level of EE without much warring. Suggestion: Expire 1 lvl of EE every 3 weeks regardless of weather they war or not (2 weeks seems less considering there are just 6 wars possible in 2 weeks).
@Kaw_Admin- I just had a thought. If someone had the Veil of Evasion active when you guys were matching up teams but the spell doesn't last the entire war, can you guys notice that? I think that might be a big reason for bad matchmaking in these wars. I think that you and someone else were talking about this or something similar? I was skimming the forums really quick to get to this last page and see if there were any other questions I had that haven't been answered yet. BTW, you're doing a great job at responding quickly in this thread
