  1. Does anybody alternate buildings? Like build a hatchery then colony then torture garden? Cuz wouldnt it give u a balanced build but ur defense would be higher too because the defense buildings give a better ratio. So wouldnt this be better than building just colonies?

  7. OP means build one of each over and over. No that's not better since balanced building gives the most overall stats and more hits per regen. I'll do some calcs and check it out in a bit.

    8 attack

    Those 24 buildings

    24 balanced buildings

    More stats/More hits per full regen.


    It's a matter of choice, as Donkey said, it makes it more colorful lol.
     
  10. The crux of the matter isn't whether it is more colourful or not (lmao), but would an atk/def bld combination better than two balanced bld against an opponent? For example, shd one build a hatchery garden as opposed to 2 colonies? We only hv 49 lands to play ard, so naturally how we build up is very impt.

    The reason for this question is that the combination appears to give lower BTA (bonus to allies) than 2 balanced bld. For example, at max T5 atk/def BTA:
    hatchery garden : 451040/426480
    2 colonies : 468996/468996.
    So your stats would appear to be higher in the 2 colonies build.

    But wait, If we examine PER TROOP atk/def stats:
    hatchery garden : 22552/21324
    2 colonies : 21318/21318
    So per hit, you enjoy a significant advantage in atk and def if you employ the combination build. The reason for this discrepancy arises from the fact that balanced build give extra troops over atk or def builds which is computed in the BTA calculations. But higher BTA doesn't necessary mean higher atk/def success, just make look stronger than you really are.

    Btw: This scenario is applicable for T4 blds (I nvr calculate for T3 and below).
