I agree with Joe. Guess I have to find a clan now. .-. But overall, this is seriously exciting. Hopefully it's as good as it sounds. Also hopeful that it doesn't turn into boring turtle wars. :/ Devs are slowly redeeming themselves.
50% limit can easily be abused with group hits, and could let to never properly regenerate a particular player on opposite roster. Anyways it be fun.

Tower up to counter 50% limit can be useful but at the cost of plunder. Will help players with towers.
The 50% limit will cause the clans to plan their attacks on the opponent rosters. These ideas will make war more fun and exciting
Any item that that can be used in battle (in other words, all of them) should be earned in battle. Stop giving them to EB warriors. Eliminate item drops in EB and attach them to wars and BL hits.
@Kreeps I like that idea, but then it would warp us back to the Pwar Era. It would be a system too easy to abuse.
Uhhh it's not hard to just waste troops as a spy on attack builds / other spies, you don't really need quests. What about pure spies though? They are always at 0% troops
Sounds like a cool shake up, really glad to see changes! I'd like to ask about planned times and durations of tournament wars, the summer wars were much more favourable to certain time zones, I know it's a tough issue to deal with, but a variety of start times and war durations would be really good.
I really like the upcoming changes especially the one about pinning rewards however I do have a few concerns and questions. For the evctos [probably Incorrectly spelled] edge, this can only be earned In a tournament and not just any ordinary one. Another cool thing would be to take the current war plunder system and the past system so that if a clan FF's without earning X amount no plunder is given or that if an FF takes place no plunder is given. Mith could be dished out but only if you earn it like it currently is. An item drop for wars is also something I'd like to see, or perhaps the ability to steal/un-enchant enemies items, both costing a certain amount of aqua and inferno to do so. That's about it for now but overall I really like the idea
So, spies can just waste troops on the attack builds to keep them permanently pinned and unable to hit? Same With attack builds
Oh of course, you don't let players pin themselves. You don't let them do quests, and they can't attack until 50% troops. But of course, you never liked spies did you, devs? They were always the loophole, the problem that you never accounted for. That's why you're punishing them. No support. EDIT: can you be pinned with pure spy with 0 gold out, but still be able to hit? That seems the only way to strategise as a pure spy, if these come into the game
