Has any clan been able to beat this without a mass crystaling? I have been in 2 of these now and both times there were 70 crystals used to stay ahead of the regen. BTW the regen seems to be set way to freaking high @ 5k every 2 minutes. To put that in perspective it is half of what a full build does on a full burn...maybe a bit more than half. Thanks for listening.
Also, it doesn't really seem feasible to defeat based strictly on using regens and NOT using a mass crystal burn.
5k every 2.5 minutes. Look at the clan Wulf is in. That clan beat it in a little over 4 hours. Could have been from xstals, but still quite impressive :geek:
Definitely a money maker for ATA. I don't begrudge them making money, but the eb should at least be doable without the players blowing a combine $75-100 on crystals each time.
Thanks realboy but I believe the question was can this eb be done without xtaling. All that SS proves is that they used lots of xtals.
Yes, it can be done without mass xstalling. Have your people hit 2/3 (att/ass) every 5 min instead of doing hourly unloads. Also, recruit help from wc.
The reason it's best to do trickle hitting on this eb is that it ensures constant hits, and reduces the liklihood of multiple regens occurring without hits.
BTW, I realize it has no effect on damage done. I didn't claim it did. All I know is that's what we're doing at Legendary Resistance, and we're not doing mass xstal runs to beat it in under 4 hours.
Lol! Thanks, but I'm betting the excitement of new eb's/items will wear off before TOO long, and we'll go back to our lurking ways... lol
We done it a few hours ago without using any Xstals. I just wish the Devs would bring out an EB to replace Haunting, but so far all the eb's pay terrible, worst being City of the Dead, it's just terrible and don't say the pots make up for the bad payout because they don't.
Honestly, the problem with Haunting is that it pays TOO well, if anything. That said, Haunting was created as a direct response to PW's, so I guess I see why the devs made it the way that they did.
