WHAT DO YOU MEAN WAR TAX STAYS BUT PLUNDER GOES?
    Well here is your answer.
When you attack or steal in a war you notice 20% of your earnings go to the War Tax.
The totals shown on the war board is the plunder earned not the tax.
The War Tax is not displayed anywhere.
Theoretically you should be able to estimate the War tax as 20% of Team A plunder + Team B plunder.
However, when a person leaves or is kicked their plunder goes with them so if people leave or are kicked (especially with several hit & run players) the War Tax is always more than 20% of the displayed plunder.

The plunder scores are used to determine the winner of the war. People leaving or being kicked removes their plunder contribution from the scoreboard (hurting their team).
This is done to make people think twice about kicking players who are "leaking" in real wars. If you kick a person you plug the leak but you also lose the plunder that person earned during the time in the war. In a close war this can cost you the lead. A better answer is to have the clan pin leaks not kick them unless it is real early in the war.
Also this prevents people from leaving and returning to use more than 3 crystals in 24 hours in the war. If they do that it will increase the war tax greatly but has no impact on the outcome of the war as every time they leave their plunder is wiped from the scoreboard.

    Now back to pWars.

First misconception. War Tax lessens when you are kicked or leave the war.
FALSE. The game remembers the contribution and the "invisible" war tax Total is unchanged. Again, the plunder displayed drops when you leave or are kicked but the tax is unchanged.
Want proof of this? Easy. Look at tax payout from pWar.
Everyone put 20% in right? Right.
So if your War tax payout is higher than 20% of TeamA + TeamB plunder then where did that extra tax come from? ANSWER: It came from those who left or were kicked. This is why HIT&RUN pWars pay so well even though the displayed Plunder totals are relatively small.

Second misconception. Plunder stays in kick and goes on leave and/or tax stays on kick but goes on leave.
BOTH FALSE. Again, if a player is kicked or if they leave their plunder number drops but the war tax stays.
WHEN IT COMES TO KICKING vs LEAVING THE GAME CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE.

    HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:

In this war the Regulator Academy had racked up 95b in plunder.
Then lots of big Hitters left and the plunder dropped to 38.4b As shown above.

Next we kicked most every player in the top 20. Again the plunder dropped. This time to 17b.

Thus proving that the game sees no difference between "kicking" and "leaving on your own".

Last, but most important, the War Tax payout for this war was 28.8b proving that the plunder drop from leaving & kicking had no effect on the War Tax.

  2. Also, on another note:

Attacks Register 100% plunder on the War Board
Steals Register only 78% plunder on the War Board.

    For Example:
    OAF attacked:
    66,569 Plunder
    448,035 Ally Bonus
    -102,920 War Tax

    411,684 TOTAL GOLD

War Board Plunder then showed up as 411,683
So attack showed 100% of plunder on the War Board (off by 1 gold probably due to the way it rounded a number off)

411,684 Total Gold vs 411,683 Plunder on War Board

Now here is where it gets strange:
    OSF Stole:
    3,039,400 War Tax

    12,157,602 Gold stolen

War Plunder then showed up as only 9,904,310.
    9,904,310 - 411,683 = 9,492,627
The OSF's steal registered almost exactly 22% less plunder than was actually taken.

12,157,602 Total Gold vs 9,492,627 Plunder on War Board

I don't know if this is a mistake in the game engineering or intentional, but regardless, Stealing seems to registers 22% less plunder on war board then attacking.

Something to consider when deciding how to divide tax at the end of a pWar.

  3. On what day was this war held?

  4. Nice thread bro 

  5. Nice guide but it's important to point out that if you're calculating war tax, it would be 25% of what shows up as plunder for the war. As your math shows, 20% tax, 80% income. The 80% income becomes the war plunder. Therefore the tax that's in for the war would be 25% of what shows for the plunder. Assuming nobody left of course.

  6. Boom! Nice job! 

  7. Was this compiled before or after update was installed?

  8. It's a little lengthy lol

  9. Perfect answer to the questions I was looking for on War Tax and War Plunder - thank you! ;)

  10. Wow.... Now it makes sense

  11. Sorry I have been away from this thread. This war was done the day before this thread was posted. After highlands. Before PvE of course.

  12. So after plunder war forfeit, who get war plunder ? Osf get what from plunder war? Why many ppl wanna be osf ? And how can become osf?

  13. U messed up a bb code!!! At the top of the second post, in yellow. Quick, fix it

  14. Lol. Thank you - fixed.

  15. Who gets tax when you forfeit?

The War Tax is 20% of the total war plunder earned.
Whenever a side forfeits or loses the war the opposing side shares the war tax.
The amount of war tax you get is based on the amount of plunder you earned for your side.

For example if Team A forfeits then Team B gets the war tax.
Lets say the total War Tax is 200b gold.
Lets also say Team B has 4 people.
    Person 1 earned 20m plunder
    Person 2 earned 30m plunder
    Person 3 earned 50m plunder
Person 4 earned 0m plunder (Just joined war but never participated)

The War Tax Payout is based on how much you earned:
Person 1 receives ~40b in War tax (Earned 20% of plunder gets 20% of war tax)
Person 2 receives ~60b in War tax (Earned 30% of plunder gets 30% of war tax)
Person 3 receives ~100b in War tax (Earned 50% of plunder gets 50% of war tax)
Person 4 receives 1m in War tax (you get 1m for being on the winning side)

This holds true for any winning side in a war (regular or pWar).

What do OSF get from plunder wars?
In pWar OSF typically get some or most of the War Tax in exchange for their 48 hours of being open for free attacks.

Why do people want to be an OSF?
To feel valued, to help their clan, to help their alts.

    How to become an OSF?
Here is an excellent guide about that:
