  1. In this post, I am comparing the benefit of buying gold through nobility points versus buying crystals to earn gold from attacks. I'll explain the results by showing the calculations below, but first a summary:

    1) With only Tier 3 buildings, you need to earn at least 3,365,385 gold per hit to make more from $20 of crystals than with $20 of nobility points.
    2) With only Tier 4 buildings, you need to earn at least 21,033,654 gold per hit to make more from $20 of crystals than with $20 of nobility points.

The calculations below assume you have at least 1 balanced troop building for 26 hits per full troop run. But with the information I show below, you can recalculate the amount for 24 hits, if you like.

    Here's the calculations:

    Tier 3: Nobility
    210,000,000 gold / oracle
    15 nob / oracle
    14,000,000 gold / nob
    200 nob / purchase
    2,800,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    140,000,000 gold / $

Tier 3: Crystals, required avg. gold per hit (26 hits)
    3,365,385 gold / hit
    26 hits / run
    87,500,000 gold / run
    32 crystals / purchase
    2,800,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    140,000,000 gold / $

Tier 3: Crystals, required avg. gold per hit (24 hits)
    3,645,833 gold / hit
    24 hits / run
    87,500,000 gold / run
    32 crystals / purchase
    2,800,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    140,000,000 gold / $

    Tier 4: Nobility
    1,312,500,000 gold / oracle
    15 nob / oracle
    87,500,000 gold / nob
    200 nob / purchase
    17,500,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    875,000,000 gold / $

Tier4: Crystals, required avg. gold per hit (26 hits)
    21,033,654 gold / hit
    26 hits / run
    546,875,000 gold / run
    32 crystals / purchase
    17,500,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    875,000,000 gold / $

Tier4: Crystals, required avg. gold per hit (24 hits)
    22,786,458 gold / hit
    24 hits / run
    546,875,000 gold / run
    32 crystals / purchase
    17,500,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    875,000,000 gold / $

    and in general, using 10M/hit

    10,000,000 gold / hit
    26 hits / run
    260,000,000 gold / run
    32 crystals / purchase
    8,320,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    416,000,000 gold / $
    65 min / run (regen)
    240,000,000 gold / hour
    0.58 $ / hour

and for the 24 hits per full troop run...

    10,000,000 gold / hit
    24 hits / run
    240,000,000 gold / run
    32 crystals / purchase
    7,680,000,000 gold / purchase
    20 $ / purchase
    384,000,000 gold / $
    60 min / run (regen)
    240,000,000 gold / hour
    0.63 $ / hour

You can use the nobility points calculations of 140M/$ and 875M/$ to figure out the value of any particular build.

I have a number of thoughts, but I'll keep my editorial opinions and thoughts to myself for now.

What do you think about this?

  4. Woah we have to go find bramblestar! 

  5. I think for most with between 1 and 12 t4 buildings it's best to buy the nobs then the crystals. If you are closer to bc t4 you should make enough that the crystals might be more worth it
