Hive of the Ancients Doom in the desert! The Fatesands calls for aid as their ancient enemy awakens from deep underground. They must prepare their forces for the imminent arrival of this threat. Can you muster their forces for battle? This event consists of a primary Legend and an extra Legend available immediately, as well as a set of three side-Legends that will unlock the day after with 2000 collection items. These side-Legends will offer players a choice of Easy, Medium, or Hard. The rewards increase with each difficulty level, but so does the challenge. Players WILL be able to complete each level once the previous choice has been completed. Regularly scheduled competitions will also run for the duration of the event. This event will be available from Wednesday, March 20th until Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 at noon PT. Clan Wars! During Hive of the Ancients we will run a few instances of Clan Wars as part of Scheduled Wars. Veteran players may recall these type of wars but the basic details are: Instead of individual sign up, these wars require the Clan admins to sign up the clan to war as well as individual members opting into the war by casting the Wave of Conflict Spell found in the Alchemist. You'll then get matched up against other clans that have signed up and are not required to leave your clan before the War. The format is Lowland War, No BFA/BFE with roaster requirements being 20-30 members. This means only Lowland stats are used for this war as we want to make this as accessible as possible for all players. Update: Due to popularity, we've decided to run more Clan Wars for the coming weekend. This time changing the roaster sizes so that clans can register with 10 - 15 players. We'll have Clan wars running at: Friday, March 29th 9:00 AM PST Friday, March 29th 9:00 PM PST Saturday, March 30th 9:00 AM PST Saturday, March 30th 9:00 PM PST Sunday, March 31st 9:00 AM PST Sunday, March 31st 9:00 PM PST Each War will last 1 hour These wars will hand out similar rewards to current Individual Wars. *Please keep in mind this is a trial of old war formats as we experiment with making improvements to War, let us know any issues you run into or feedback you have if you participate. Competitions For the duration of Hive of the Ancients, there will be a PVE and PVP competition running. Last event we experimented with different requirements for competitions, but have reset the requirements for this one as we continue to evaluate impact. We appreciate player feedback as we continue to try and improve KAW. Hate to be a pessimist but what are the chances of getting even close to fair/equal matchup. ZERO. Devs indi war matching isnt perfect but it will be alot better than us rostering

Best news yet except for times. Ideally if two wars a day they should be 12 hours apart to allow all time zones to participate.
I share some of Chewys reservations, but I have to admit, any addition to ee is welcome and surprising. Go ahead and make my year by adding the highlands to lowland war. Will greatly increase the variety of war styles and strategies, thank you in advance.
