Each clan listed is a link to their respective clan forum posts, which contains a description of the clan and links to leadership and perm members. Clan forum posts do not necessarily need to be recruitment posts. They can be any quality post which represents the essence of the clan. Rules: (scrapped with the Feb 2016 revamp) • This is a list of quality clan forum posts. • This list will be occasionally updated to ensure clans listed are still active otherwise their name gets a strikethrough. Forum posts for disbanded clans are removed altogether. • Clan listings can be removed at any time by request from clan leadership or forum author. New clan posts which supersede older posts can be re-linked. • Changes in alliance affiliation can be updated - just pm me.
Re: The Grand Clan Forum Post List (Original 2nd post from January 2015) This idea has been on my mind for some time, however, was sped up due to Daphnia’s post yesterday Homes For New Players. Nice job promoting new clans. (Update with February 2016 Revamp) Originally last year I spent a bit of time reaching out to clan owners and leadership asking if they wanted their clan post listed and then gathering information about the clans, such as focus (EB/OSW/HTE/EE), any age requirement, and if they offered training for new players. This took a lot of time and frankly, no one cares. Combined with the lack of new clans being created and clans listed going inactive, this forum post list languished midyear. However, over the past couple months there have been a number of high quality clan forum posts, prompting me to resurrect this thread. It will be easier to keep updated with the new simpler format (Clan Name / are they active / date forum posted). My goal is this list accomplishes three things - (1) provides a quick reference guide for a small portion of the KAW landscape, (2) perhaps gives new players some direction on new clans to join and (3) serves as a bit of nostalgia for KAW veterans as they peruse the list of closed clans. The occasional bump would be appreciated to keep this thread relevant. -Rad

Great idea, seriously I can see it being stickied, unfortunately I can't see many seasoned vet clans wanting links to there clan as most are full amd have all the members they want. But it's great for new members to find a suitable home. Maybe a bit more detailed info on the clans would help, eg epic battles pattern or tier, maybe war info ie,system war ammount per week. Clan rules (xtall usage or seals needed, or actions expected) osw clans could use pots required and bb needed. I could see this being used as a clan guide if all this is used.
