  1. Here is a quick Regulator guide about ProPacks and those other pesky permanent items.

    Q: What does "Pro" mean"?
What are ProPacks? How do I get them?

A: ProPacks are special in-game apps that give you an edge in fighting by giving your stats a bonus modifier.
This bonus is applied as a percentage modifier to your base stats. They do not directly change your base stat numbers, however the bonus is applied every time you attack, spy, and defend. The bonuses do stack so if you buy all ProPacks you will wind up with a 25% bonus to all 4 stats.

You can see these bonuses here:

Screen Shot From Computer (all 25% Propack Bonus + No Reset bonuses)

Screen Shot from iPhone (all 25% Propack Bonus + 8% Reset bonuses)

ProPacks cannot be purchased via a computer as they are technically apps.
Sorry Computer Only Accounts, your out of luck.
They can only be purchased in-game through the Oracle (under Marketplace) on an iDevice.
The purchase is charged to you through iTunes.
If you wish to use an iTunes gift card to purchase these apps then:
 Go to your iTunes app on your iDevice
 Click on the "Music" icon
 Scroll ALL the way to the bottom and select "redeem"
 Scratch the hidden redemption number off of the back of your iTunes gift card
 Enter the gift card redemption code into the phone
 This will add a credit to your iTunes account. When you buy the ProPacks it will deduct from the credit balance first before charging your card. (remember iTunes purchases are subject to local sales tax)

Here is a list of all the current ProPacks as they show up under permanent items:

Q: What Banner Type should I choose?
A: The game has advanced to a point where the differences are so minor that you should pick the one you think is the best looking and fits your personality.

    Q: What are Speakers?
How do I get them? What do they do?

A: Speakers are special items allow you to post on the World Chat (WC) screen. Every post in WC costs 1 speaker. To spend them simply post in WC. You will get a message asking if you want to spend a speaker. You can also run a fifteen minute banner across the top of the WC screen. These banners cost several speakers (the cost varies depending on how in-demand the space is)

There are only 4 known ways gain speakers:

 Purchase them though the Marketplace on you iDevice or PC with nobility points
 You will get some Speakers with the purchase of ProPacks
 Wait for them. If you are an iDevice account you will receive 5 speakers every day up to a maximum of 25. Sorry PC Only accounts. You do not get speakers for activity.
 Be awarded them by the developers (such as by becoming a moderator)

Unlike other items, speakers cannot be sold.

NOTE: Contrary to what some say, the speakers now CAP at 25 unless you purchase more. You can no longer use one to get to 24 and wait to regen 5 to 29. You now just regen to the cap of 25. This, I believe was done to prevent people from abusing the WC Banner (also called WA) with 15 minute long messages. If you want to post in WA you must spend some real money now.

    Q: What are Crystals?
How do I get them? What do they do?

A: Health Crystals are a one trick pony. Go to the oracle and spend one and it renews your troop levels (attack & spy) to full. They do not work if you are already at max troop levels so don't worry about accidentally double clicking.

There are only 3 known ways to get health crystals:
 Earn them by doing quests (they are a special reward for completing certain quests). You may see a crystal randomly drop upon the successful completion of a quest but It is EXTREMELY rare.
 Purchase them though the Oracle on you iDevice or PC with real money
 Wait for them... The developers occasionally give out a couple crystals for special occasions or just cause they love you.

    Q: What is Nobility?
How do I get it? What does it do?

A: Nobility can do many things.
    - Go to the Marketplace and spend 1 Nobility to get 1 Speaker
    - Go to the Oracle and spend 10 Nobility to Regenerate your troop levels to full (Just like a Crystal)
    - Go to the Oracle and spend 15 Nobility to receive Gold (amount of gold you receive varies with the size of your build ranging between 500 gold - 2.68 billion gold)
    - Go to the Oracle and spend 20 Nobility to change your accounts name. <<The only other way to change you name is to reset>>
Well Developers can change your name but they typically only do so when it is offensive or violates the ToU.

There are only 3 known ways gain nobility:
 Earn them by doing quests every time you get the "Success" screen while questing there is a 2% change to receive 1 nobility point. This includes already completed quests.
 You will get some nobility with the purchase of ProPacks
 Purchase them though the Oracle on you iDevice or PC with real money

  13. Re: ProPacks, Resetting,

No problem feels good to help :)

  14. Re: ProPacks, Resetting,

Keep in mind that the boost from reset bonuses and propacks don't apply to allies.

  15. Re: ProPacks, Resetting,

    Correct.

They modify your base numbers. They do not modify the bonus you get from your allies.

    also

They do not effect your stat numbers directly therefore your Owner does not benefit from them.

  16. Re: ProPacks, Resetting,

They are also applied before bonus from allies if I remember correctly

  17. Re: ProPacks, Resetting,

    Correct.

They modify your base numbers. They do not modify the bonus you get from your allies. That is applied after the % bonus.
