Real answer: One or two clans rostered far bigger than anyone else and established a stranglehold on big builds. The lack of bfa/bfa made it transparent how bad the matches were. Participation died as no one wanted to war against sides 2x their size. So they were nixed. Ps. Ps1 builds dominated primal and tanks were unwilling to build the massive sdt needed to counter those rosters. In ll the sdt needed to play against ps1 sides doesn't kill your build.
