  1. Thank you for all of your feedback so far on our current event. A number of interesting points have been brought up by you and discussed amongst ourselves here at ATA and so we want to update you on what this means for both our current and future events.

Events are created with the goal of providing players of all activity levels another means of participating in the game, supplemental to its core gameplay. Not all players are at the same point in the game, and so we do our best to provide a wide variety of reward tiers ranging from minimal to extreme amounts of participation. This means that while everyone may not get everything, those who make a minimal effort to participate will still be rewarded for their efforts. As a note, the very top reward tiers should be difficult to get.

Haunting: The Escape was created with the goal of providing those who choose to purchase a Seal of the Damned the ability to positively impact their entire clan. This means that a single player can make a purchase for the greater good, benefiting up to 100 different players. We realize that as a community there seem to be some unwritten rules and social behaviours around using these items, and are hoping to further evaluate their design over the coming months to see how we can improve upon this.

Having said that, we’ve decided to make some changes to our current event and have lowered the number of Tribute Jewels required for some of the higher reward tiers. By design, some of these tiers are still going to be difficult to reach. If everyone can get their hands on the very best items then there’s nothing special about them. Even if you don’t make it to the very top rewards, you’ll still earn some pretty awesome rewards just for playing the game.
