I am interested in having a big chat about anything you, the players, want to have a designer comment on. I won’t be able to give out specifics on everything but I will work to answer your questions to the best of my ability. How will this work? Post questions and talk with other players on this forum post. I’ll leave this thread open until Saturday July 16th to allow all of you a chance to ask questions and discuss amongst yourselves. On Sunday July 17th I will create a new post answering the most popular and important questions/conversations that are raised here. And we can have a back-and-forth on Sunday for a few hours if people are interested. Does the developer team plan on coming out with any more Eb's soon? Or any promo eb's like ROTWB and HTE?
Hi, Charlie. Welcome to the team. Thanks for opening this up. My question is about clam loyalty. I own a small clam, and picking up new members is incredibly labor-intensive. However, once we get people to join, they quickly leave for bigger, stronger clams for events or wars or whatever. Is there any work being done to bolster clam loyalty and funneling new players into clams that need (and want) them? I love teaching newbs, but it's frustrating to see my investment in them lost to more established clams who can afford to run HTE all the time or complete huge EBs with massive payout.

Hi Charlie, very brave of you to volunteer for this detail. Having done so I hope you find that we're not in fact a den of lions as it would be counter-productive for both parties to have a hostile dialogue. As you may have gathered from your lurking there is a lot of vocal discontent on the forums about the state of the game, whether due to unintended consequences or untested concepts. None of the threads in the Ideas section seem to have developer feedback, which you have to admit is not very motivating. So instead of posing rhetorical questions I have one simple, direct question for you: "What is the official procedure for the community to raise good ideas to the development team?"
Do Y'all at ATA actually read the petitions and Requests from the Players or is it like a quick glance and veto kinda thing? I knoe you guys are a buisiness and all but Jeez.
I am wondering if ata can introdce some form of item that once we used prevent players from attacking/stealing players. This help small build players. To grow without getting farm. Nevertheless osw or those who get farm will love this .to have this item. No strip no ppl leave game. Just a suggestion.
What plans does the team have for furthering the events? Currently the system we have is purely a re-skinned version of previous events which works for a while but it does become stale after a while. Can we please get the next eb in the Wrath of the Sveruganti series. It's been over a year since the series was introduced and we have only seen the first part. Can we expect lowland indi wars to be added in the future? Lowland war was a great concept however there are plenty of players who prefer individual warring but would love to get involved in the lowland war playstyle. Currently we have 2 wc and with the recent slowdown of chat in wc, especially in the international wc, would you not agree that it would be beneficial to have both merged into a single wc? This would mean that there would be less strain on the international mods, less slowing down of wc as it would have players in from all timezones, and there would be more player interaction. So many benefits and the only con would be that non english speaking players might get overwhelmed. Last but not least when can we expect news on the new ATA game in the works that just finished its beta testing?
Can we ever make HTE a free EB? Turn ZTA into a permanent one? As prices for buildings grow exponentially, the slow, free EBs are not enough to stay in pace with those spending thousands of $. Thanks for the AMA
