Fight Mechanics

  1. THIS THREAD IS NOW BEING REVAMPED DUE TO T5 AND SOME OTHER THINGIES....

This is a guide that explains the exact fight mechanics for each build under every circumstance.

    Definitions:
Attack Build: less than 25% spy troop buildings, the rest attack buildings (an example of this build is bellemorte- 3,657,776/3,693,152/419,000/809,000)

Hybrid Build: greater than 25% spy troop buildings, greater than 25% attack troop buildings (an example of this is Wulf - 2,219,112/2,219,112/1,004,400/2,076,240

Hansel Build: less than 25% attack troop buildings, the rest spy buildings (an example of this is: HeIIsBells- 229,488/229,488/2,888,240,3,180,560)

Pure Spy: no attack buildings, the rest spy troop buildings

Note: Throughout my testing I have found no correlation between towers and fight mechanics. This means- you can have 20 towers and they will not change the way mechanics work. ONLY TROOP BUILDINGS affect fight mechanics.

Note: There are 4 open slots that I have been unable to fill in. If anyone has that information, I will edit this post to include that information.

    The Strip

A lot of people out there are interested in a certain aspect of fight mechanics that allows for a player who is assassinated outside and has gold out to be open for steals their first and second regen out of attack pin but dtw for assassination and attack. Basically, this means that your clanmates cannot successfully pin you while you are sleeping if you have gold out (ie-if you are being stripped). Now- I'm going to post below the specific numbers on it, but here it is in layman's terms:
    Player A is being stripped.
Player A's clan assassinates him to dtw.
Player A is dtw for attack and ass first and second regen out of pin (should be ~ 10 minutes), then he is open for steal but dtw for ass and attack
At third regen out of pin, Player A can be assassinated/attacked again until he is dtw for steals for the next 5 minutes.
So, you have a 5 minute dtw, 10 minute open window for steals when an outside player is attempting to pin Player A to prevent the strip

    Now here are the tests:

(this is true for attack, hansel, and hybrid)

Attack troops pinned to 8800/47000 (18.7%), spy troops @ 0
    Regened to 26.7% attack troops
Dtw for attack and assassination/Open for Steal

Hansel Test: 18.5% attack troops to 26.8%, susceptible to steal, dtw to ass and attack
Second regen, open for ass, attack, and steal
Pinned below 20%, dtw for all

    Rinse and repeat

Special Thanks to Wulf for allowing GlaDOS to put you through a series of test ... for science,
IlIlllIIll_The__Dragon___IllIIIllII for his belief that he truly would receive cake at the end, my hubby (who actually did receive cake), Poppabear for pissing me off enough to initially start testing, Corinthian for goading me into doing it.

    ClancyPasta likes this.
  2. ๎Ÿ๎ŸVery good love the detail

  3. tl;dr

    will read in a minute..

  4. Nice thread and thanks for the effort done in demystifying the new battle mechanics.

  5. This is GREAT Belle! But PLEASE change the blue, it is very difficult to see on pc

  6. Well put together.

  7. Wow good job Belle, very good thread, informative and a great deal of effort put into it.

  8. Blue nice on idevice...

  9. Unless my game mechanic are shockingly out of date I don't see how this is possible?

See Attack build - Gold out- Above 20% troops below 20% spies.

  10. ๎€Ž

Effect should be changed to affect though. Verb.

  11. Very nice. Done WITH testing, and <3 the portal refs.

  12. Thanks Belle for taking the time to test all this.
Why is there 2 parts of the Hybrid build missing in the last section?

  13. This must've taken a while to put together! Great job, belle! ๎Ÿ

  14. @strategy- yep. I retested that section like 5 times cause I was like "WHAT" too.

  15. @panic- because, for the life of me, I couldn't get two hybrids on at the same time to test those specific scenarios. If ANYONE can fill in the blanks, they get cake.
