NEW Potential pvp event idea

the fatal fiveway free-for all

Battle time: 3-6 hours
Objective: get choice of attack and assassin wins for a large ammount of rewards or total attack/assn actions for 10-20% less rewards (too prevent the smallest player in a wider queue from being screwed over)

Benefits:
- almost abuse proof most people with multiple accounts do not have them the same size. Abuse can be further prevented by tracking how many times certain players match up.
- new and hopefully exciting addition too the recent pvp event improvements.
- short but intense battles that will intrigue and increase activity of casual players and please the pvp community.



In essence you would cast a mark-like spell and be put into a queue, when you get a group of 5 that are similar size (all bonuses included) you get a phone notification saying the battle has started And your trading / transmutation is locked

Instantly your battle list shows only the 4 others you matched with offline or online regardless of what mission you choose its better to get wins as you get more actions so its solely to make things fair


The rewards can range from per hit token rewards that can be exchanged for silver bar / token rewards .

Option 2 is the typical reach-a-goal





issues
- if someone has 2 accounts of the same size and opt in at the same time there is abuse potential .
- if someone is the smallest in multiple rounds, there is potential to miss out on many rewards
- if build types arent accounted for there might be 4 attack builds and one spy build making it unfair for the minority.



Any ideas/additions/ suggestions ?

Another issue is trading. If matches include all bonuses, great, but massive stacks could be transfered after match. If you disable trading, it would dissuade people from casting (3-6h is a decent chunk of time for a lot of trades).

I'm down for trying most new PvP events tbh. I like trying and having new mechs for events, especially when better rewards are involved :lol:

Another issue is like you said they could bring an alt which would be wide open to attack.
Another thing is this would keep people from farming an opt in player after they go to sleep

Also it could be set for top of hour with 1 3/4 hour events. You would be allowed to opt in as often as you wish with all players being in bl.

Great idea ill include a trading lock once you cast your "mark"

The alt and the main would stil be open to 3 other players, some people have alts the same size but very very few have alts close to the size of their main, certain players will always find ways to abuse the mechanics but this will lower It.
