Some form of update for wars

  1. Hi.

    So lowland wars on the verge of collapse. Unless changed it will just be a form of victory token income for most, not for the fun of warring at all. Devs please atleast address when you will give the warring community any update... Even some attention would be nice...

    Solutions to bring lowland back to life:

    1) Losers get No victory tokens. WHY SHOULD LOSERS GET VICTORY TOKENS???

    2) Introduce a 2nd set of lowlands either normally into the game or for warring purposes only. Having 49 lowlands rather than 24 will create so many more builds and possibilities.

    3) Assuming #1 is in action - The winning team gets 400 Victory tokens

    "But Chtholly why not 600?!!??"

    Since the losing team gets nada this will shorten the gap at which consecutive winners gain on losers. Making it not impossible to catch up after a few bad wars.

    4) Assuming #1, #3 in action - Keep the 300/600 payout for EB Event items ONLY. The only change to rewards will be a reform for victory token payouts. This way losers dont get nothing... FFA Clans may still exist however they will have a much time hitting EB's if their goal is to gain 300 EB Event items.

    5) I dont know wether this should be in effect in indi wars... Comment on this maybe

  2. None of these suggestions would invigorate player interest when it comes to trying out wars.
    Especially #1 would deter players without serious/exclusive war teams from participating in wars.

    Something that would actually make people take notice of wars would be war event equipment, but with the effort they put into creating equipment for the legends quests/side quests tiers I get why they pulled war EQ rewards.

    There's not much participation in LL anymore because there isn't any war equipment to be won. You'd see more players compete in wars if there was something to compete over. The current war event rewards are shoddy and pointless.
    If they do ever introduce EQ rewards from wars, they need to fix the rampant use of 3rd party apps in wars. The ones that let you pin faster, auto spam troops and so on. You get the idea.
     
  3. I agree that #1 will in fact exacerbate the current situation. As was mentioned in another thread, certain clans currently have a monopoly on the current state of affairs in LL wars, and it's only a couple, maybe 2-4. People will not war ffa if they know there are no tokens to be made, since they'll be matching an instant loss anyway. This just decreases the number of people warring.
     
  4. Why don’t they add a huge silver bar payout for winning wars? Maybe through legend tiers with significantly higher payouts then eb tiers. It would definitely encourage growth for wars and serve a higher gain for the smaller players encouraging war earlier on while closing the gap.

  6. #1 might demotivate players from trying to do ll wars.. however ffa warriors dont help the ll war situation whatsoever so the payout should be way lower for the losing team..

    As for 3rd party apps, not many players use scripts in war situations anymore. Okay? Yes, people use pc. People use autoclickers. This doesnt make a huge difference to clicking manually, as most of the time goes into actually processing the action.

    The truth is, scripts and bots are now much more common in the eb/"osw" part of kaw. Do you think those LBs always wake up from bed 30 seconds after a strip? If you do, get yourself checked out.

  8. One possible LL War fix is no loser rewards yes.

    How about 60 scout bombs which produce 0 plunder not give rewards. Plunder based loser rewards r then more palatable.

    Another idea is add War profiles to our builds.
    In doing this then the FFA artists can be readily identified. Both LL War and IWar stats can both be implemented.

    An example to be added as follows:

    LL War:
    - win/loss 0/16
    - overall actions att/sb/steal/ass 0/500/0/0
    Those stats show no effort to win

    - win/loss 0/16
    - overall actions 120/400/60/200
    Though no wins the effort was there

    IWar profile stats are straightforward enough
