You literally have to log in at the start of the event and at the end of the event to get your legends bonuses, suck it up for crying out loud. Worst case scenario is that you have to login with your phone once a week to collect rewards. The pc and phone versions are miles apart, for devs to implement legends into pc it would take a long time and restrict them from rolling out other updates in a timely manner. People need to stop making this out to be such a big deal. Ps how hard is it to have your phone sitting with you at your desk?
Why not have something for the people that don't have phones? Because that's probably 1% of the player base or less(not to mention they probably don't pay). And would require well beyond that number of resources to keep the pc up to date
Trust me if you had your account on kongregate you'd think its a big deal as well. And they don't have to put legends on PC all they have to do is have the old event system.
For those of you telling pc players to just link their account to a device to receive legend rewards you're half correct. While the accounts that are connected to a facebook or ATA id are able to be linked to a device kongregate accounts cannot be linked to a device. I believe its something in their terms of service that doesnt allow accounts to be linked therefore anyone that has a kongregate account is screwed. without being able to use the legends feature it doesnt make much sense to continue playing as these accounts are at a severe disadvantage to device accounts as well as linkable accounts. These accounts can still collect the event items but will only be rewarded for it if they are in the top 100 collectors of whatever the current event item is. Its messed up for anyone who ever put money and time into a kongregate account.
