I have suggested this many times in emails to astinkingape and once on forums. It is a great idea but laziness and lack of business sense prevent them from implementing any good ideas. Even that being said, I do support.
Just max xtal. You'll know what how much time you got left after that. Then you can time your xtals. I've managed to make mine always reset at 7 pm. Just xtal once whenever you want to start the timer. But support.
If everyone stopped buying and using xtals untill we got an xtal tracker it would probably take a few hours to get done.
