Second there created with an alternative structure Owner Starting Slots: 1 Max Slots: 1 Slot Purchase Price: n/a Co-Owner Starting Slots: 1 Max Slots: 4 Slot Purchase Price: 200b Head Admin Starting Slots: 3 Max Slots: 15 Slot Purchase Price: 150b Admin Starting Slots: 5 Max Slots: 30 Slot Purchase Price: 50b Member Starting Slots: Unlimited Max Slots: Unlimited Slot Purchase Price: n/a There are a few changes overall; Permissions: I changed the permissions to make it a hierarchical structure. This means that the higher you go the more permissions you have instead of being "promoted" but no longer having access to highly useful abilities. Costs: The costs of the dev proposed setup were huge and this completely destroyed the chances of running a successful lower level clan without serious investment. My setup still has high costs but they are not so high that lower clans can actually see light at the end of the tunnel. Starting Slots: I upped the starting slots a bit to make it so that a new clan has at least a chance of running when first opening without being forced to invest straight away. There are just enough slots given for free in order to run effectively as a clan if those players are highly active however realistically you will need to invest in more slots. Max Slots: Not much change here however overall you can have up to 50 players with access to a rank that isn't the member rank. This allows clans with a lot of in built family trust to promote a higher amount of members if they so wish. Co-Owner: The Co-Owner as a whole is identical to the head admin with one major difference. They will receive the clan if the the previous Owner disbands the clan. This means that less accidents will happen regarding clans being disbanded. As there can be multiple Co-Owners at once the highest ranking Co-Owner will receive the Owner rank. Co-Owner much like the Owner rank will be able to assign clan ranks excluding the Co-Owner rank which can only be assigned by the Owner. Not everyone will agree with me on this however I feel this is a better structure than that proposed and I feel that overall this will benefit the community better than the developer proposition. Please leave any feedback on this and I will look into it. I will be emailing this onto the support team as I post this now EDIT: A feature I would love to see that is for Owner/Co-Owner is the ability to mass wall/pm the whole clan at once. This would make running a clan far easier. I would consider adding it to Head Admin too however this would open this feature to overuse.
What about all the extra stupid names and costs that the devs want to implement? Why would they do something simple and effective like this? Like what the community asked for? Why do they always feel the need to make it their own like its something they came up with? Screw the devs on this one.. Support
Looks good to me, but I think regular admins should be able to kick people and ff ebs as well. Other than that it looks amazing.
Admins need to be able to start ee wars, it's stupid to have only 4 people be able to signup the clan for war, change that and you have my support.
The reason I didn't allow the basic admin to kick and forfeit ebs was because those feel like more punishing roles to me therefore I put them one rank higher. My mistake I really didn't think of that Good spot I will fix that now
Support. I worked out a clan hierarchy I'd use if running a clan, and it didn't include about half of the proposed dev's roles (lower buy in cost too).
The only changes I would suggest to this proposal, would be to remove the fees for purchasing the position slots, and add another 10 admin positions. Getting rid of the "pay several tril to run a clan" is still the most important issue to be addressed.
I could support this set up overall, only things I would suggest are more co-owner(maybe upto 10) and admin positions available. Some clans ran by council have more council members then your proposed number of co owner positions. I just feel there is no reason for a limit on how many admin positions, owners/co owners should be able to decide this. Also think the Co-Owners and Head Admins should be able to change clan roles of all members under/upto their position. This would be very helpful addition to the co-owner/Head Admin positions. The only other thing Id suggest is admins being able to ff ebs, sometimes a eb is started and maybe the limited number of higher positions arent on to ff eb, so think if a admin can start a eb they should also be able to ff it.
I think devs proposal is actually better, granted there are steep costs involved. It is however intended to stop the mass multitude of clans being created daily by over eager noobs or those, for what ever reason, feel the need to create and disband clans every few days.
Support. I like this idea. However, I wouldn't limit admin and other ranks to only half the clan. They should be available to all. The devs idea wasn't a bad one necessarily, it just seemed much more complex than needed. I was going cross eyed trying to read all the roles and differentiate from one to the other that were seemingly exactly the same. If they'd simplified it, as you have, it probably would have been better. However I also agree with Eblord. The price each role costs is probably to combat noobs making clans for the sake of it. It encourages hard work, loyalty and people wanting to be part of a clan. It also gives something to sink gold into. It might help ever so slightly with inflation. Overall though, good idea. Devs could have benefited from simplifying the roles a little like this.
Devs have been yelled at, cussed out...ain't no telling what else (hehehe) . They are just trying to kill the game off. I say let them.
Support but I only have 2 suggestions: 1. Admins need to be able to change titles 2. If admins can start ebs then they can forfeit them but leaving before it starts
