I have two recommendations for upcoming EB events. If this has been brought up elsewhere, please feel free to lock. 1. Once a player has collected enough material (ash, psion, etc.) to fully upgrade the associated event's equipment, standard item drops should be replaced by alternative drops. Increased chance of aqua/inferno, mith, etc. would be nice, but even bonus gold would be better than having worthless items after the event is over. 2. All event material should be a form of currency usable in the marketplace. Again aqua/inferno, mith, etc. would be preferred, but gold would still be better than useless items. Obviously the ratios would need to be set reasonably for each marketplace item. The other benefit of this specific change would be enabling players to choose if they want to chase the event item's upgrade or simply use the event to farm for resources (to use as they see fit). Both of these changes would help with the increased cost of upgrading items, provide alternative motivations for joining in an event, and reduce/diminish the stigma of over-shooting on an event.
210 psion and 800 plus ash, total support for any kind of exchange, but preventing extra drops once the item has been maxed out would be even better!
Support. There is also a thready by "Moody", which is called "The Black Market". If you support this, then go check that out too! Hopefully we can get the devs to implement stuff like this
I liked his post and hope that trading and such will get implemented in time. I hope that this is somewhat less controversial/complex to implement.
