Old War Idea incl revisions

    KaWmanders at War - Drafted Rosters

    Real Time LIVE Draft Board for Watchers

    

    1)What?
    20 vs 20 or 25 vs 25
    - 3 Tiers - 1bcs ...400-999mcs...100-399mcs
    - can be 1 or 2 or 4hrs duration

    2)How?
    Approved WC's have 1/2hr to Draft
    - WC cast 15min early and needs 5 Votes

    3)When?
    Weekend Only - Saturday
    - 7pm PST
    - add a 2am PST war slot for this ONLY

    4)Who?
    - PRO-EE Tier with Xtal cast PRO-WOC
    - Acolyte-EE Tier non-mandatory xtal WOC
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    EE War Draft example:
    - WC cast before 5:45pm12:45am PST
    - PRO-EE casters vote WC's for each tier
    - 1 WC per 20/25 entrants if possible
    - Draft begins @6pm/1am PST
    - autofill @6:29pm/1:29am if rosters not full
    - cast mith after 6:30pm/1:30am PST
    - War starts @7pm/2am PST

    Miscellaneous:
    Undrafted warriors and/or those who cast WOC without xtal r matched up as currently done for IWars.

    - ALL BFA/BFE ON
    - XTAL returned if unused in PRO-EE win.
    - comprehensive war stats on profile
    - World Chat is turned OFF during war
    - War Vault for a 10% fee til war ends.
    - 1 week Shattered Sword if Inactive
    - 3 weeks for 2nd inactive offense.
    - each succesive offense add 1 week
    - WC can boot inactives only after 20 mins.
    - winning WC wins 3 xtals n 10% bonus mith
    - random drop SB rewards for winners
    - random xtal reward for winners
    - losing WC wins xtal back

    

    Time for a twist....


    Time the misc building slot to be used?

    Something for EE PVP and OSW.
    LL War is exempt from this concept.

    UNIQUE buildings on new Lands of Conflict
    - new lands to be released asap



    Wyrm Riders:
    Att no Def (static) - Osman stat levels
    Spy Def (%) - based on current SDT 1%/sdt
    eg: 10 sdt total on ALL lands is 10%



    ⚜️Dragon Spawn:
    Spy att no Def (static) - thieving only at Osman stat levels
    Att Def (%) - based on current ADT 1%/adt
    eg : 10 adt total on ALL lands is 10%



    Mage Tower:
    Att Def (%) as above
    Spy Def (%) as above

    EDIT revision October 1/2017:

    To activate either or all requires an xtal each.
    Duration is 1 hour per xtal.
    Changed to 1 xtal to active 5 new war buildings for 1 hour duration.



    The idea behind the 3 buildings is those whose play styles r more focused on conflict and not eb's can augment their builds at no loss to those who eb only preference. The 3 buildings are unusable for EB's. The use of xtals will fill the devs coffers more. The twist can be refreshing and change warring away from where it is at now and move forward.

    I honestly love this idea, as you always have very intriguing insight on how to elevate the war system. I agree with this schema very much it would be awesome to have.

    I have to say, this is a fabulous way to NOT penalize EE warriors. Finally. Devs please do this. I can't tell you how many trillions and how many tokens I've burned through building and then destroying towers.

    Having special lands that only apply when EEing is an elegant way to keep the earning potential equal for EE players and also boost participation.

    Full frontal support.

    Great idea only thing I can't see in this thread is where does the devs make money? Well know they don't care for system wars because it doesn't generate money for them. But 10/10 thread

    I was thinking about suggesting bc wars


    You get to pick a tank, ps, hansel, balanced or attack build


    No exploit+higher gold reward = enticing to more people

    Ok so i am wasting my time on eb's to grow when here i am here for war and eb's are filler. So everyone can bypass building for war and pick an unearned BC build for war.

    This accomplishes what exactly?
    A) nothing
    B) ppl log on to war then leave
    C) anyone can war on LB and be inactive
    D) FFA Indi wars
    E) make up your own answer

    How many idea/revision/suggestions already in forum regarding the EE war and none being taken seriously by ATA.Btw, ATA now more focus on releasing pvp/war in kingdoms at Heckfire. KOH get more attention than KAW bcos ATA keep fixing/balancing the apps even still in beta/unreleased version.

    When was the last time anyone had a reply or the devs commented on a war thread?

    One way or another can we expect status quo or something is in the works?

    As this thread is about IWar i have been monitoring LL Wars casually and they have been FFA wars almost every war now. Is this an indicator all is well or more a sign that war is only in the name of this game only?

    That’s how it’s seemed lately. An update on the status of future war seasons and updates to the war system by the devs would be very much appreciated

    Indeed bro, ATA has abandon the boat. No way telling what are ATA going to do and left the warring community in the dark. We all only know that ATA keep throwing repetitive events and premium eb to pls big spender.

    Ps : i have read countless EE war thread but none of it get attention from ATA nor replied from ATA side.

    I’m guessing running wars requires too much by way of resources and input from their side and is not justifiable by the revenue it generates. They are probably hoping wars just fall off of everyone’s radar after long enough and they can keep with the mostly automated events and new premium ebs to maximize income with minimal staffing and cost.

    This is an incredibly well-thought out, intriguing war plan that looks to be genuinely interesting, enjoyable, and rewarding!

    Excuse my possible overuse of adjectives...

    ATA seriously need to reinvigorate the pvp'ness of Kingdoms At War. Stupid mmopve.

    I would war all the time (well, once a day to be realistic) if the war system supported players like this (auto-tracking?) but I fear that the Apes have already ruined us with so much inflation.

    Good ideas or not for wars goes nowhere in the end. KaW is stupid proof for me now. Unload set alarm for 80mins to fully regen the glitch troops/spies then unload. Rinse n repeat. War if i remember for renewal then back to auto-pilot.

    Solitaire is looking very exciting now.....

    Next time the suck up pop up for rating Kaw occurs its time to be honest.
